BACKGROUND

Mr Mak raised global profile through entering UK nationwide competitions and reaching finals at Ministry of Sound for MixItMoto sponsored by Motorola.

Thereafter, he was introduced to 2point9/Virgin records and signed an album deal for writing music and as a DJ.

​

He went onto touring with artist Jay Sean for 2 years, featuring on TOTP, MTV and more, also playing weekly on Kiss fm for 2 years. After Kiss fm, a deal was signed with BBC Radio for 1 year for a weekly Saturday show.

In tandem, Mak was playing sets at Brit Awards after parties for 5+ years, OK/Hello magazine, fashion catwalk events and parties.

Eventually Mak featured in 8 music videos aired on music channels worldwide including MTV and toured US, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Highly discreetly plays exclusively for HRH Prince Azim of Brunei and the royal family, where he has entertained the likes of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, Bruno Mars, Neyo, Chaka Khan, Sophia Loren, Faye Dunaway, Ursula Andress, Joan Collins, Jerry Hall, Pamela Anderson, Hillary Swank, Adrien Brody, Rick Malambri and many celebrities alike.

Mak continues to play for royals, as well as playing for private clients and specialist events such as the F1 Gran Prix yacht parties, Cannes Lions parties, Celebrity private parties (i.e. for Russell Crowe's, NOAH movie private party), in locations such as Monaco, Cannes, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dubai, Sydney and London.

Mr Mak's ethic is not just about playing music, but about being able to generate energy leaving an impression and creating a magical experience for every individual. Mr Mak plays almost every genre of music, once dubbed 'Hectic Eclectic' by some of the biggest DJ's worldwide to include Judge Jules. The variance in being able to change from one genre to another is a key characteristic which is reflected in his live performance.
